The goal of the joint project is an exploratory investigation of how K* Λ(1116) and K*(0,+) Σ(1193)(+,0) photoproduction off proton and neutron target is associated with the possible formation of multi quark structures, i.e. beyond minimal 3-quark configurations, in the vicinity of the K* production threshold(s). This shall be achieved by the analysis of data taken in the corresponding reaction channels with the BGO-OD experiment. For improved discrimination between kaons and pions it is proposed to take into operation an aerogel Cherenkov detektor in the fringe field of the BGO-OD forward spectrometer.
