Final Report Abstract
Despite some adverse circumstances in the first phase of the project (coronavirus pandemic and the surprising departure of the postdoc on whom large parts of the project were based), it was largely possible to carry out the planned studies. Most of the studies are empirically based on data from an extensive parallel corpus. The corpus which already existed before the start of the project was significantly expanded in the course of the project work. Most importantly, we have succeeded in developing an annotation tool that will make it possible in future to make the corpus data – and their annotations – available to the scientific community for its own research purposes.
