Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse
A detailed study was carried out to understand the effect of H-bonding functional units in vinyl cyclopropane (VCP)-derivatives on photopolymerization and the effect on volume shrinkage. Both mono- and bi-functional VCP derivatives were studied for structure-property relationships. A lot of new VCP derivatives were prepared and structurally characterized for achieving the aim. New collaborations with Prof. Gekle’s group at the University of Bayreuth were started validating experimental results with theoretical simulations.
