In this project, the cooperative binding and reactivity of chiral tetrakis-triazoles (TetraTri) structures as C-H-based neutral anion acceptors in catalytic anion-binding processes will be explored. Thus, the influence and the controllability of self-organized structures, their host-guest complexes (with one or more anions) and the cooperativity nature of the binding will be investigated by physical and analytical methods, complemented by quantum mechanical studies. Finally, novel applications in enantioselective anion-binding organocatalyzed dearomatization process of N- and O-heteroarenes will be developed.
