Term
Funded in 2019
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 426547142
The Center of Energy Technology (ZET) combines the competences and activities related to energy research within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bayreuth. This results in a broad spectrum of research covering thermal, electrical, chemical and biological aspects of energy technology. The proposed FT-IR/Raman spectrometer enables in-situ measurements of mixture compositions in pressurized systems as well as characterizations of solid bodies. In this context, an automated and software-based control of the measurement method is an important feature. Due to this high-quality equipment, manual resetting can be omitted and a strong cross-use within the Center is guaranteed. The combination of complementary measurement methods by the proposed device is an integral part for current and future projects of the research groups. Until now, a comparable kind of adaptable combination of FT-IR and FT-Raman spectrometer is not available at the University of Bayreuth.
