The work programme contains theoretic, numeric and experimental investigations of enhanced jointing and post tensioning techniques for segmental AM-concrete elements. First, an existing joint catalogue will be extended by possible enhancing techniques for dry joints. The enhancing techniques will be evaluated theoretically with associated FE analysis. Second, selected enhancements will be tested experimentally under compression and shear. Third, post-tensioning strategies for AM-segments will be investigated to connect multiple segments. The tests on post-tensioning techniques or anchorage areas will be done by partially loaded areas as a substitute. Finally, a segmental post-tensioned demonstrator (e.g. frame) will be designed, manufactured and tested to prove the finding from the 2nd funding period.
