Final Report Abstract

More than 7,000 archival documents from the mediaeval and early modern periods have been preserved in the Kreisarchiv Warendorf and the Landesarchiv NRW, representing the unique written traditions of the towns of Ahlen, Beckum, Freckenhorst, Oelde, and Warendorf which have been of utmost importance for the historical development of the Eastern part of the Münsterland. The project included the digitization and presentation of these archival materials in the internet.
