The joint project aims at studying electrode materials and soft matter electrolytes, which are useful for storing and conducting sodium(ions). The german project focuses on novel electrode materials based on high entropy alloys (HEAs). This approach should allow tailoring of the redox properties and should lead to a solid solution storage bebehavior over the complete stoichiometry range.
