We will systematically modulate treatment expectation in psoriasis patients undergoing treatment with the anti-IL-17A monoclonal antibody secukinumab in a clinical proof-of-concept trial. We will determine the effects of expectation induced by verbal instruction on treatment outcomes at the subjective (e.g., pain, itch, quality of life) and physiological (e.g., skin lesions) levels and will analyze whether and to what extent such strategy can be employed to reduce the treatment dosage.
