This research project aims at giving an account of the as yet not sufficiently examined tradition of Jewish Hegelianism. The project- rationally reconstructs the philosophiscal positions und arguments of the main text of Jewish Hegelianism;- gives a survey on past and present research;- accounts for the filiations between German Idealism and Jewish Hegelianism;- accounts for the filiation between Jewih Hegelianism and 19th century "Wissenschaft des Judentums";- examines the relation of Jewish Hegelianism both to Rightwing- and Leftwing-Hegelianism;- detects new sources of some of the fratres minores of Jewih Hegelianism (e.g. Leon Raphael Landau and others).The project deciphers the historical background (philology), analyzes the main concepts (historical semantics), situates them in their main contexts ("Konstellationsforschung"), and discusses the different lines of Jewish Hegelian arguments "with Hegel against Hegel" ("logotectonic").
