Project Details
Nanoprinter based on two-photon absorption
Subject Area
Materials Engineering
Term
Funded in 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 459730852
The device applied for is as initial equipment for nano-structuring miniaturized integrated optical components in various research tasks at Sensor Technology Campus. The acquisition of the device helps the research group to significantly expand the existing scientific and technical competencies, especially when it comes to adapting the properties of micro-optical and integrated-optical components, e.g. can be obtained via ion diffusion or other microsystem technology methods, preferably on a wafer basis. Research into new types of optical sensor technology is thus being advanced by the high-precision production of prototypes or functional models in one Direct writing method is made possible. The basic possibility of also obtaining mold inserts via this process expands the spectrum of possibilities with regard to later efficient production processes.
