Dissecting myeloid subset-specific effects of the IDH1 mutation in high-grade glioma (P07)

This project aims to decipher the role of the oncometabolite isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) in grade 4 gliomas on specific myeloid subsets. First, we shall map myeloid cell diversity across time and space in mouse brain tumor models according to their IDH1 status. Second, after profiling the transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomics landscapes mouse glioma tissues, the functional impact of the myeloid cell types will be investigated in vivo by cell-specific mutants. Finally, we plan to study differentially expressed IDH1-status-dependent molecules in myeloid subsets from patient glioma samples.
