The project examines how explicit and implicit human differentiations are drawn in sites of solidarity that relate to a non-differentiating global humanitarianism. The project focuses on the processuality and varying states of distinctions in situations of helping, when administratively relevant categories interact with and reinforce or weaken civic distinctions of neediness.
