The activities for WP1 (Photocatalysis with excited radical ions) and WP2 (Photocatalysis with excited anionic and dianionic photocatalysts) were completed during the initial funding period, and the results were disseminated through publications. In the next phase, we will focus on modulating the reactivity of photoredox catalysis at 2D interfaces. We will investigate photochemical reactions such as cyclization, cycloaddition, dearomatization, deracemization, and carboxylation at the water-oil interface. For continuous reaction conditions, we will employ a photo-flow-spray reactor for water-oil aerosols.
