Experience is one of the key concepts in Cultural Anthropology. Experience is research object, research tool as well as analytical category. However, the term is undertheorized and lacks conceptual precision. The network closes this conceptual gap in working up experience as research perspective for Cultural Anthropology: It identifies theoretical components and conceptualizations of experience, research goals, methodological premises and approaches to experience in order to disclose the term’s heuristic potentialities for Cultural Anthropology.
