Project Details
Hybrid Process Planning for Turbine Blade Repair (T06#)
Subject Area
Metal-Cutting and Abrasive Manufacturing Engineering
Term
since 2023
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 119193472
The objective of the transfer project is the implementation of a method for hybrid process planning, in which the process planning of the material deposition and the recontouring are connected via a closed feedback loop. Thereby, the basic knowledge of technological planning of repairs from the subproject C1 is transferred to an industrial environment. The method will be implemented by the partner AixPath in the form of a prototype suitable for industrial use. MTU Maintenance Hannover GmbH contributes the necessary expertise regarding the repair guidelines of turbine blades and assists in the verification of the functionality.
