Project P18 investigates cellular machineries in the adaptive immune system and quality control in organellar membranes during viral infection and malignant transformation. The mechanistic principles of assembly and disassembly, conformational coupling, supramolecular organization, and modulation of the peptide-loading complex (PLC) by viral and cellular factors will be studied by integrative biochemical and biophysical approaches.
