Actors of plastid-mediated acclimation, of which some may be independent of the key functions of a plant's plastid, shall be identified under conditions of combined biotic:abiotic environmental challenges. Based on plastid pathway-focused co-expression networks, we will assess the (post-)transcriptional and physiological responses of both partners of the plant Arabidopsis:broomrape pathosystem and of broomrape-infested acclimation-deficient Arabidopsis mutants during the course of high-light, heat, and cold exposures.
