The goal of this project is to study two types of generalisations of the tt∗-equations of Cecotti and Vafa relevant for 4D N = 2 and even N = 1 supersymmetric field theories. One such generalisation directly describes the moduli spaces of 4D N = 1 superconformal field theories. This will be combined with a study of the holomorphic anomaly equations satisfied by the elliptic genera of non-critical strings in theories with 4D N = 1 supersymmetry.
