Integrable many-particle models like the elliptic Ruijsenaars-Schneider models are related to supersymmetric QFT through the study of superconformal indices and supersymmetric partition functions. Defect observables can probe integrable structures. We plan to investigate direct approaches to the quantisation of such models in connection with their appearances in super- symmetric QFT.
