The project investigates the production of figures of racist discrimination in and by antiracist movements in Germany, which are increasingly visible and influential in public discourse. Through interviews and group discussions with activists and collectives as well as social media postings, it analyses the tension and conflicts between the use (and thus reproduction) of certain categories of difference, the underlying strategies and the problems focused in the range from experiences of violence to symbolic (re)negotiations of belonging and representation.
