The project focuses the production of mobility options in the course of migration and border management regulations between the EU and the Eastern European states of Ukraine and Moldova within the framework of the EU’s Eastern Partnership (EaP). It examines negotiation processes aimed at Entry-, Return- & Control-practices that categorize and control the mobility of individuals and groups of people between the EU states and the two countries. For this purpose, the project evaluates official documents and interviews with participants, and conducts field studies in the border regions of Romania, Ukraine and Moldova.
