S01 exploring the role of rapid climate change (RCC) on socio-environmental transformations will assess the potential impacts of large-scale climate reorganisations on socio-cultural trajectories in the wider regional and temporal context of the whole CRC 1266. For this, upgraded and existing climate compilations and model simulations will be used, and archaeological data on social variables, as reconstructed by other CRC 1266 subprojects, will be integrated.
