MiRoVA SP1 is the first of 7 subprojects of the research group MiRoVA, which focuses on the effects of migration of road vehicle automation on the human-machine and traffic system, e.g. from a SAE level 0 (manual driving) or SAE level 2 (partially automated driving) to a SAE level 3 (conditionally automated driving) or SAE Level 4 (highly automated driving). As a starting point and conceptual framework for the individual models and detailed work, a qualitative meta model for the migration of vehicle automation is established and iteratively developed further. Part of the meta model is a holistic system model, which describes the interaction of subsystems, actors and contexts of the migration of socio-technical systems.Another part is the migration tree, a collection of potential and likely migration paths of vehicle automation, derived from expert interviews. An ontology, class model, use case repository, pattern database and collection of system qualities complement the meta model. The aim of the meta model is to condense knowledge about positive and negative migration effects with regard to automation and make it available to the research group, and the research and development community in such a way that it can be used efficiently in the development process. The principles jointly utilized in MiRoVA are to be developed in SP1 in advance and with participation of the other MiRoVA researchers, so that cooperation in the other sub-projects can also be carried out under coherent conditions and with common interfaces and evaluation measures. The model will be iteratively evaluated by internal and external experts.
