Term
Funded in 2024
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 555131442
Research at the School of Natural Sciences (NAT School) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) focuses heavily on the synthesis and structure elucidation of complex molecules in the areas of organic, bioorganic/biochemistry, bioinorganic, coordination organometallic, supramolecular and materials chemistry. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in solution is a central analytical tool in all fields. Quick access to this crucial method within the framework of an open and well-functioning NMR routine department is essential for more than 40 working groups within the three departments of the NAT School. For the international competitiveness of research, it is necessary to maintain the quality and quantity of NMR spectroscopy for the above-mentioned areas. Due to outdated technology or the total failure of existing equipment, there is an acute need for action to procure the replacement requested here.
