Adaptive models for in-line process monitoring and control (A05)

In A05 methods for real-time monitoring and control of manufacturing processes of load-dedicated structures are investigated. To this end, generative and explainable AI methods are being researched to identify data-driven real-time-capable models. These are trained on data from complex and non-real-time capable simulation models such as FEA and CFD, combined with data from real experiments. The result is a methodology for the development of trustworthy, adaptive virtual sensors for the real-time prediction of process, structural and material properties.
