Building on two projects of the DFG research group “Law - Gender - Collectivity” from 2018-2021 and 2021-2024 carried out at the Department of History Didactics at Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin), the knowledge transfer project aims to conceptualize the link between historical learning, human rights education and education on gender and sexual diversity. Based on the results of our research on the educational history of LGBTIQ* (lesbian, gay, bisexual and biromantic, trans*, inter* and queer* people), we plan to further research queer historical educational work with the help of the expertise of our application partners QUEERFORMAT and RosaLinde Leipzig e.V.
