Project Details
STAT3-controlled cross-dressing of dendritic cells in anti-tumor immunity (P17)
Subject Area
Immunology
Cell Biology
Cell Biology
Term
since 2025
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 540805631
Based on the observation that during tumor initiation mitophagy in intestinal epithelial cells enhances antigen presentation and cross dressing of dendritic cells, P17 aims to examine the exact impact of cross dressing and the molecular mechanisms involved in shaping anti-tumor immunity. The specific properties of MHC-I bound antigens transferred by cross dressing will be analyzed by affinity tag-based purification and subsequent LC–MS/MS and compared to all MHCI-I bound antigens and the potential contribution of cross dressing for immunotherapy will be evaluated.
