B06 aims to investigate the conditions for successfully incorporating adaptive simulations into educational programmes for pre-service teachers and medical students. The project will conduct a document analysis, expert interviews, an observational study, a survey study, and an experimental study to identify prerequisites for higher education teachers to effectively support individual and small groups of learners who learn with personalised simulations. The project aims to clarify these pre-requisites and then to develop and test a training programme to enhance the relevant skills of higher education teachers to integrate personalised learning with simulations in their courses.
