C04 focuses on professional vision of pre-service teachers diagnosing teachers’ behaviour in biology classrooms. Learning processes are used as an adjustment base for adaptation in video-based simulations. In three experimental studies, personalisation mechanisms of instructional support in video-based simulations (adjustment base, time frame, type of support) are analysed. Furthermore, the transferability of results between different biological practice situations, as well as different phases of professional development, are investigated. By focusing on PCK (pedagogical content knowledge) as a knowledge base, C04 also aims to ground the Refined Consensus Model empirically.
