The Biodiversity Synthesis core project realizes synergy within and beyond the Biodiversity Exploratories through synthesis services and research that addresses the project's important guiding questions. This will be done in two main ways: 1) by directly catalyzing and supporting synthesis activities within the Exploratories with aggregated datasets, through helpdesk services, courses and workshops to build capacity and provide synthesis tools, and 2) by establishing and supporting a synthesis program consisting of targeted synthesis teams in which Explorers collaborate with international researchers and projects.
