In this project, spin and orbital transport phenomena induced by THz and laser pulses will be studied theoretically. Employing the nonlinear Boltzmann equation and analyzing the time evolution of the one-particle density matrix, we aim to calculate nonequilibrium spin and orbital magnetization as well as spin and orbital currents in quasi-two-dimensional systems, including Rashba multilayers, transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers, and layered Kagome magnets. Our model-based approach enables us to analyze topology- and quantum geometry-related linear and nonlinear responses.
