Self-assembled monolayers of spin-crossover metal complexes

Self-assembled monolayers of chemically grafted spin-crossover iron(II) complexes will be prepared. Thermally induced and light-induced switching of these monolayers will be examined. Different parameters for preparing self-assembled monolayers will be varied and their influence of the quality of the monolayers and their switching will be examined.
