The project explores on the basis of two seminal decisions of the Federal Constitutional Court on a fundamental right to (school) education how equal opportunities can be realized in and through school law. The research relates both to the implementation of standards of international public law (UN-CRD) and principles of administrative law to concretize necessary binding minimum standards in order to create ways of participation and/or belonging in school education. This includes comparative law research on school law of other signatories of the UN-CRD.
