The project B05 investigates the relationship between inclusion, recognition, and justice by examining school practices in dealing with moments of irritation, which are often described as disruptions, behavioral disorder, or special educational needs in in the area of emotional and social development. The focus is on the effects these practices have on the participation (Teilnahme) and belonging (Teilhabe) of the affected students in class and how they are perceived and subjectively experienced by the students themselves. A long-term, multi-perspective ethnographic study is planned at a comprehensive school starting in grade 5.
