Subject Area

Term
since 2026
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 549839646
Assuming that the educational system provides various occasions for the emergence of feelings of injustice, the project investigates the conditions under which such feelings arise among adolescent students, how they are connected to experiences of (non-)participation, the extent to which they are linked to crises of meaning, and whether and how these feelings lead to articulations of perceived injustice. Taking into account mediatized life-worlds, the project also analyses how digital participation shapes the articulation and processing of injustice. Using reconstructive methods, the project analyses group discussions with students as well as social media posts.
