The project focuses on cultural, economic, and legal systems that circulate globally and shape literature. Norms of physicality, sexuality, and gender, migration policy regimes, concepts of citizenship, and transnational publication markets form interlocking frameworks that both enable and limit literary interventions. These orders do not operate in the abstract, but through concrete bodily configurations and the attribution of legitimate or illegitimate physicality.
