Shaping the dynamic of sociotechnical systems using the example of user innovation communities (A03)

The innovation process of PSS is characterized by the complex temporal behavior (dynamic) of the occurring cycles. In order to shape this dynamic in a transparent and efficient way, suitable models are needed. In the second funding period, the subproject developed fuzzy logic based methods which support the consideration of both qualitative knowledge (i.e. on human behavior) and quantitative data (i.e. cost or time) in dynamical modeling. In the third funding period, these dynamic models are used and developed further to shape the dynamics of sociotechnical systems. This is conducted in close cooperation with the subproject.
