M. Schulz-Siegmund and M. Hacker investigate functional, macromer-based biomaterials for covalent surface modification with aECM components. In the third funding period the gels will be modified systematically for an ATMP with melanocytes and keratinocytes, and the formulation, which induced cell differentiation most effectively will be identified. Furthermore, the promising work with TriLA/PEG scaffolds with regard to bone regeneration will be continued.
