Final Report Abstract

Zusammenfassend konnten wir die Chemie von BrF3 und der Tetrafluoridobromate mit den Platinmetallen, aber auch die Chemie von Cu, Ag und Au, signifikant erweitern. Wir haben dabei einen Blick auf „ungewöhnlichere“ Lösungsmittel wie NH3 geworfen. Ein einfacher Zugang zu O2PtF6, die Existenz der Ionen [BrF2]+, [Br2F5]+ und [Br3F8]+ , sowie [Br2F7]− und [Br3F10]− stellen für die Fluorchemie eine Bereicherung dar.
