The project investigates young children’s worldmaking: how they make sense of and thereby bring forth their own ,analog-digital‘ irreducibly ,hybrid‘ worlds. The empirical study sheds light on the co-operative accomplishment of the human and technical sensorium in the context of everyday family interaction with smartphones. The long-term camera-ethnographic study is continued and extended with an intensified focus on sensory practices. The participating children’s increased age requires a multi-method approach, as well as an extension of the research setting to include educational and other contexts beyond the home.
