Digital Planning and Working with AI: The Construction of Places (B01)

The subproject investigates the role of AI as a force of transformation in digitized planning and working processes. The focus lies on the spatial figure of "place", whereby "place" is synthesized and further developed as a dynamic, multidimensional concept for the CRC. The central research question is how urban and rural spaces are changing in the course of digitalization through artificial intelligence. Empirically found variations in the construction of "place" are also described.
