Final Report Abstract
We have established a framework for the computation of Mellin moments of splitting functions and DIS coefficient functions at four loops in QCD. The four-loop results for the non-singlet splitting functions Pns^(3),±,v in the planar limit are already (almost) complete as well as the contributions of the quartic Casimir invariants for the all singlet splitting functions. The results have been used to determine the DIS coefficient functions and the inclusive cross section for Higgs boson production in gluon-gluon fusion at four loops in the soft limit. The computation the remaining parts of the singlet splitting functions is ongoing work within the Research Unit FOR 2926.
