This research project investigates wetland conservation in Namibia, Zambia, and Kenya, studying the interplay between ecosystems, livelihoods, and institutional change. Building on earlier work on conservation history, multispecies relations, and rewilding, the project focuses on the temporal dynamics of wetlands, the influence of international funding, and shifting local strategies. Research methods include ethnographic fieldwork, collaborative research and comparative analysis.
