Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse
Given the dim prognosis and unique challenges throughout the clinical course, new approaches to GBM therapy and diagnostics are desperately needed. In our work we detailed first steps towards a peptide (more specifically BTP-7) based therapy and PET-imaging. While more studies and optimization are needed to eventually complete clinical translation, we have shown that BTP-7 is a viable candidate to further advance the treatment/imaging of GBM.
