The Z-project serves as an anchor project for collection, storage and distribution of data and biomaterial within the PANDORA research group. It is structured around the Translational ARthritis Research Database (TARDA) and run by clinician scientists that are supported by database managers and technicians. In addition to supporting other projects, the Z-project also seeks to process the acquired data and to answer key questions about the early stages and onset of RA by linking clinical and biological datasets. Based on the successful work during the first funding period, we aim to expand TARDA, increase biomaterial sampling with a focus on human synovial tissue biopsies and integrate remotely acquired patient data via digital health applications. Obtained data will be annotated within TARDA and provide the basis for successful clinical and translational research within PANDORA.
