Load-bearing behaviour of cyclically loaded foundations of megastructures (B04)

Subproject B04 deals with the load-bearing behaviour of the foundation structures of offshore megastructures with special consideration of the complex cyclic loads. Including laboratory tests on soil behaviour and model tests on system behaviour, methods are being determined with which this load-bearing behaviour can be predicted and taken into account in a digital twin. The focus of the model tests in the second funding period is on monopile foundations. However, additional approaches are also being developed with which the load-bearing behaviour of jacket foundations can be realistically captured in the digital twin of the overall megastructure.
