The research project examines artistic positions from the first half of the 20th century which connect therapeutic and formative interventions in moments of social crisis with traditional artistic procedures. New ways of living, working, and relating manifest themselves in artistic practices in which artistic, political, and epistemological aims are mutually conditioned. Practices of creating, healing, and caring draw their intransitive intervening potential from collective and dynamic processes of artistic creation.
