Predicting molecular mechanisms of adaptation to radio-chemotherapy in cancer (C04 [B08])

Project C4 will study the evolution of cancers of the upper gastrointestinal tract in cell lines and patient-derived xenograft mice, generating comprehensive genome, transcriptome, and proteome data. Focusing on mutations in DNA repair pathways and their effects on future changes in the tumor, we will predict molecular mechanisms of evolution towards therapy resistance.
