Final Report Abstract

Erkennbar haben wir in der ersten Antragsphase noch nicht die gewünschten supramolekularen Greifarme realisieren können, da zwei Probleme die Ausarbeitung verzögert bzw. extrem behindert haben: zum einen erwiesen sich 1,1’,3,3’-substituierte Ferrocene mit der gewünschten Ausstattung an Liganden als synthetisch nicht in den gewünschten Mengen und diastereomeren Reinheiten als erhältlich. Zum anderen musste zunächst das Gebiet des self-sortings noch stark weiter entwickelt werden, um die gewünschte Orthogonalität beim Aufbau supramolekularer Geräte zu haben. Die in der ersten Phase parallel entwickelten kovalenten Nanoschalter und der supramolekulare Rotor weisen aber den Weg, um die angestrebte Komplexität in Zukunft handhaben zu können.
